ON THE PITCH: The first women's quarterfinal matchup featured #5 Florida College Lady Falcons and #4 Alfred State Lady Pioneers. The first half was a back and forth battle, in which both teams were held scoreless.
The second half was completely controlled by the Lady Falcons. Forward Jessica Webb came out of the halftime huddle and struck early, scoring 31 seconds into the second half. Leftwing Sara Webster chipped in another goal just 3 minutes later and Michelle Rodriguez added a third to seal the victory
