#1 University of Maine-Fort Kent 7 - #8 Penn College 0

In the second quarter inal match of the USCAA Women's Soccer National Championship at Trace Fork Field, #1 University of Maine-Fort Kent defeated #8 Penn College, 7-0.  The Bengals gained control of the match early and never looked back. First-Team All-American, Katherine Ferland, contributed to all five first half goals with 2 goals and 3 assists.  The Lady Bengals outshot Penn College 20 to 2 in the first half and 31 to 7 for the game.

Fort Kent now moves onto face #5 Alfred State College in the USCAA Women's Soccer Championship semifinals on Friday, November 1st at 3:45pm at Trace Fork Field. With the loss, Penn College will play in the consolation bracket on Friday, November 1st at 11:00am against SUNY-ESF.
