ON THE PITCH: The defending USCAA Women's Soccer National Champions have earned their way back to the big stage by defeating the second-seeded SUNY ESF Mighty Oaks 1-0. The lone goal came from Julie Prentice off of a cross into the box by Forward Stephanie Zurales.
Forward Bridget Cuddihy had several opportunities to even the score in a game that could have gone either way. The majority of the game was spent in SUNY ESF's side of the field but the Mighty Oaks had several great counter attack opportunities.
