This was a rematch of the final from the 2013 USCAA National Championship Title Game and the result was exactly the same. 2014 Tournament MVP, Alex Pastor put the Golden Bears on the board first with some great footwork inside of the Bengals penalty area which led to a great shot past the keeper in the 34th minute. Early in the second half, the 2014 USCAA First Team All-American, set up WVU Tech's second goal scored by Carlos Sendin in the 47th minute.
WVU Tech had a stellar game from their back line who along with 2014 USCAA First Team All-American Goalkeeper, Hunter Moles did not allow a goal throughout the tournament. Such an incredible achievement would not have been possible had it not been for the outstanding Golden Bear defense, allowing just two shots on goal.
As the clock wound down to zero the WVU Tech faithful rushed the field to celebrate with their championship team.
