IN BRIEF: The number one ranked University of Maine Fort Kent Bengals showed their strength as they defeated the University of Maine Machias. The Bengals have now gone six games without conceding a goal.
ON THE FIELD: Yosselin Berrueco opened the scoring in the eighth minute with an assist from the USCAA Women’s Soccer Player of the Year Katherine Ferland. Yosselin returned the favor and assisted on Ferland’s first goal of the tournament in the fourteenth minute. The Bengals did not let up pressure as Marie-Laurence Montagne, Molly McManus, Cristina Mendoza, and Kendra Freund all scored in the second half. Ferland finished the match with two goals and three assists.
NEXT UP: The University of Maine Fort Kent move to tomorrows semi-final and will face Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse at 11:30 A.M. EST. The University of Maine Machias will play the fifth seeded Alfred State College in a consolation match.

IN BRIEF: The second seed Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences were led by Kayli Smith who had a goal an assist on the day as the panthers defeated Carlow University.
ON THE FIELD: Kayli Smith was as efficient as you can be in front of the net as both of her shots found the back of the net in the 34th and 60th minute. All-American, Katie Parcels, assisted on Smith’s second goal of the game. Carlow fought back to bring the score to 2-1 after Cayla Imbarlina scored in the 67th minute. Fellow All-American, Erin Tesegno, opened her scoring account for the tournament in the last ten minutes of the match with an unassisted goal. Parcels then found the back of the net herself in the 86th minute mark.
NEXT UP: Albany College of Pharmacy and Heath Sciences moves on to face SUNY ESF tomorrow, at 11:30 A.M. EST. Carlow University will face the sixth seed Illinois Tech tomorrow at 9:30 A.M. in a consolation match.

IN BRIEF: A goal with just over 20 minutes remaining by Jessie Smith was enough to propel SUNY ESF over Illinois Tech.
ON THE FIELD: Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first half but that was not for a lack of opportunities as both teams were able to create chances. In the 68th minute of play Jessie Smith scored for SUNY to take the lead. That would prove to be the deciding goal in the game. Illinois Tech goalkeeper, Roxanne Myers recorded eight saves and Adrianna Maron led the Scarlet Hawks with two of her three shots putting put on frame.
NEXT UP: SUNY ESF moves on to face the second seed Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in tomorrow’s semi-final match-up at 11:30 A.M. Illinois Tech will face Carlow University at 9:30 A.M. in a consolation game.

IN BRIEF: Bryant & Stratton Syracuse defeated the fifth seeded Alfred State College with a goal in the first and then added two insurance goals in the second half.
ON THE FIELD: The Bobcats from Bryant & Stratton opened the scoring in the 33rd minute of play as Amanda Belsito scored with the assists from Nicolette Weir. Two insurance goals were added late in the second half with the second coming in the 69th minute and the third and final goal coming in the 87th minute. The second goal was scored by USCAA All-American, Adela Racic, and the third goal was scored by Weir who tallied three points on the day. Megan Hagedorn had eight saves in the game. Haley Russell and Emily Wolf of Alfred State College each had three shots on goal but were unable to find the back of the net.
NEXT UP: Alfred State College will play the University of Maine Machias tomorrow in a consolation match at 9:30 A.M. Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse moves onto the semi-finals where they will face the number one seed University of Maine Fort Kent.

IN BRIEF: #1 Bryant & Stratton College Syracuse defeats #9 SUNY Delhi in the quarterfinals of the USCAA Men's Soccer National Championship.
ON THE FIELD: #9 SUNY Delhi gave the one seed a run for their money in the quarterfinals of the 2015 USCAA National Championships. A defensive battle saw its first goal early in the 36th minute from Dajhal Kelly, assisted by Ojai Bedward. Kelly struck again less than two minutes later, putting an unassisted ball in the back of the net. SUNY Delhi held Bryant & Stratton to only one shot on goal in the second half, however the Bobcats held SUNY to no shots, ending the game 2-0 and sending the #1 ranked team to the semi-finals.
NEXT UP: Bryant & Stratton College Syracuse move on to face #4 Berkeley College NY at 2:00PM(EST) on Friday in semi-final action. SUNY Delhi will take on #5 Concordia College in consolation action at 9:30 AM(EST) on Friday.

IN BRIEF: USCAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Year Ben Kluvers tallied two goals along with Ross Downie as the University of Maine Fort Kent advances to the semi-finals.
ON THE FIELD: Ben Kluvers began the scoring for the Bengals in the 14th minute with an assist from Willie Monthe the followed up with his second goal of the game just ten minutes later with an assist from Odean Irons. Rodney Witter added another in the 40th minute with the assists going to Daniel Blackwood. In the second half Ross Downie scored twice in less than a minute followed by Blackwood getting a goal to complement with his earlier assist.
NEXT UP: The University of Maine Fort Kent advances to the semi-finals to face the three seed Florida College at 2:00 P.M. EST. Penn State Beaver will face off against Albany College of Pharmacy and Heath Sciences at 9:30 A.M. EST.

IN BRIEF: #4 Berkeley College slips past #5 Concordia College AL in the quarterfinals of the USCAA Men's Soccer National Championship.
ON THE FIELD: Berkeley College went into halftime of the 2015 USCAA Men's Quarterfinals, on the back of a Hasan Sezer unassisted goal in the 12th minute. The game was back and forth until the 67th minute, when Diego Bastos blasted a shot from the right half of the penalty area to tie the game. In the 79th minute of the contest, goalie Masahiro Kiuchi of Berkeley fouled Concordia in the box, sending John Eilsee to a penalty kick. Kiuchi made an amazing save on a low liner to the bottom left of the goal. Berkeley capitalized on the play, sending the ball up field to Ali Dahwa, who put away the game winner in the 80th minute. Concordia had only the lone goal, despite 19 shots. Kiuchi was the star for Berkeley, making nine saves on the ten shots on goal.
NEXT UP: Berkeley College NY move on to face #1 Bryant & Stratton College Syracuse at 2:00PM(EST) on Friday in semi-final action. Concordia College Alabama will take on SUNY Delhi in consolation action at 9:30 AM(EST) on Friday.
#3 Florida College 3 - #6 Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

IN BRIEF: In men's quarterfinal action #3 Florida College defeated #6 Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences by a score of 3-1.
ON THE FIELD: The Florida College Falcons tallied 12 shots on goal in a game that stayed relatively close throughout, despite the consistent offensive attack from Florida College. The Falcons led just 1-0 at the 73 minute mark on a first-half goal from Jonathan Thompson. From there, a flurry of shots late led to goals from Florida College's Jamon Elliot and Daniel McInroe. Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences tallied a late goal from Mina Girgis to bring the score to 3-1. The Panthers Keeper Matt Houlihan had nine saves on the afternoon.
NEXT UP: Florida College will advance to the semifinals where they'll face #2 University of Maine-Fort Kent at 2:00 PM EST. on Friday. Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will move to the consolation round on Friday morning at 9:30 AM against #10 Penn State Beaver.
